Dell Vostro 1500 wireless driver
In my office one of my colleagues got a Dell Vostro 1500 laptop from US. This Laptop had default installation of XP home edition but that was not useful for him at all as he work on vs.net and SQL server that cannot work well on home edition. He asked me if I could install XP professional on his laptop and I said yes I can do that.
I reformatted his machine with XP professional service pack 2. Driver CD was available for this laptop with him so I had no problem in installing driver but when it came about the driver installation of wireless device it got stuck.
I tried all drivers for the laptop in the Resource CD but it did not worked so I tried to get it over web but no success than finally I made a call with Dell. After a long 45 minute trials I got the driver name that might have helped me. This driver is Dell_multi-device_A17_R174291. I installed this driver as a last hope and it worked great without any problem.
For Dell Vostro 1500 device wirless driver you need to download the following driver from this location as its not available in your resource CD.
