How to deal with annoying customer care

Do you feel frustrated and annoyed after talking to any customer support? If your answer is yes, then you are not the only one with such feelings because most of the customer supports do lousy work and they just waste your time and they do everything in their power to annoy you. But there are some simple tricks that can help you get better customer support and that too without wasting your time.  In case, you are wondering that those tricks are, stay tuned and you will find the answer.

Don�t call them: If you want a quick and irritation free support form customer care, then it is a good idea that you do not call them. I am giving this suggestion because most of the customer care executives are quite dumb. Many companies actually outsource their customer support work and sometime your call could land to other continent because of this outsourcing. These customer care officers only care for their performance and many times they give you solution to you without understanding your problem.  So, if you don�t want an annoying customer support, it will be a good idea you don�t call them.

Try the chat: Instead of calling to a customer care you should try to have a chat. These day�s almost all these companies offer you a chance to connect with customer support by chat. This option is similar to call only and the other person could be at any place, but it is still better because you can do your other work while sharing your problem. Also, in this method you share your problem in writing that makes sure other person understand it in much better way. As far as response time is concerned, you get a solution in almost same time and sometime quicker as well. Also, the customer support on chat is bit more intelligent than their counterparts on call centres. So, this is certain that you will have much better and quicker support by this method.

Send an email: If your problem does not need immediate solution or if you can wait for 24 to 48 hours for a response, then sending an email is the best option. There are plenty of benefits that you get by sending an email to them. The first benefit is that, you just spend time for writing an email and you can share your preferred time for response. They will respond to you on your given time. Also, not all the people get access for mail and it remain in the hand of only few people that have understanding and authority as well to solve your problems.  They can redirect the problem to right people and you can have quick solution without any irritation or time wastage.

Try twitter: Twitter is another good way of having good support from any customer care. In present time, almost all the companies have presence on twitter and if you just send a tweet to them in open, they will do everything to solve your problem. Twitter is a tool where you share your problem to one person but it reach to masses. That scare almost all the companies and that is why they don�t stop till they resolve your problem. So, if you want a better customer support, then contacting them via twitter is another good way to do it and this is certain you will get the best support from them.

I am sure, these methods can help you get better support from any customer care and you will not have any annoying experience as well. And if you don�t get good response from one method, then you can try another method as escalation and you will get support accordingly.

Whatsapp recently launched video calling feature for some people.  Although, not all the people are able to get this feature because it is still in beta stage and you can get this feature only if you are a beta tester for whatsapp. And if you are wondering how to become a beta tester and how to have video calling feature on your phone, then you can get easy answer in this video.

As I said, first you need to become a beta tester for whatsapp, that is quite simple and easy task. After visiting there you will get this screen that will have a button called become a tester. 

Click on that button and you will get a message that will say you are now a tester.

Once you get this alert, just install the update and now you are good to go for the video call. 

To make a video call, you just need to select the contact whom you want to call, then click on the call button and now you can choose video or voice call.

Raspberry pi remote control car camera

This project will make remote car control which can view camera attached on car.

It will need:

Hardware side:

1. Car toy

2. Two gear motor

3. Raspberry B+

4. Wifi dongle

5. Power bank (10A) (for Raspberry board)

6. Battery (for gear motor)

7. H-bridge circuit (L298N)

Software side:
1. Install camera using ffmpeg (Link)
2. Install Local web (Apache)
3. Make web page to control
4. Control through Internet (by port forwarding)


Step 1. Make a car
Install gear motor to car toy. It will need your clever hand and some thinking to put all things in right way
Also put H-bridge inside the car

Briefly introduction about H-bridge:

H-bridge is used to control motor direction: to make motor run clockwise A1 and A2 must be ON; run counter clockwise B1 and b2 must be ON

Above image is type of Mechanical H-bridge using relay, this project will use H-bridge from IC L298N

This electronics H-bridge also have 4 inputs A1 A2 B1 B2 (indicated in PCB is IN1 IN2 IN3 IN4) which will triggered by Raspberry GPIO

Make connection from Raspberry to H-bridge

This project connect:

GPIO0 - IN1 

GPIO2 - IN4 

GPIO3 - IN3 

GPIO4 - IN2  

GND Raspberry - GND H-bridge

For example, to make car run forward -> 2 motor have to run clockwise -> IN2, IN4 should be ON; IN1, IN3 should OFF -> GPIO2, GPIO4 should ON; GPIO0, GPIO3 should OFF

Step 2. Install camera
In previous article, follow instruction there to install ffmpeg into Raspberry (Link here)

Step 3. Make a web page to control
Install Apache and php by following command

sudo apt-get install apache2 php5 libapache2-mod-php5

After installation, input Raspberry IP address (this case is 192.168.1.71) in Web browser to see if local web working or not. If working, it will have result as here:

This webpage is saved at /var/www/html/
Next is making a local web which will load camera image on Step 2, and have 4 buttons to control motor of car

Save file, go to web browser, input 192.168.1.71/camera.php will see camera image come along with 4 buttons

To make those buttons working with 2 motor (e.g: push "Backward" button, 2 motor should run anti-clock wise; so on for other buttons), two more files need to be done:
   (1) The file camera.js contains mouse_up and mouse_down function for Raspberry GPIO, also update this signal come to Raspberry or not.
   (2) The file camera_rotate.php receive content from camera.js, then will apply GPIO output command, which make GPIO in state 0V or 5V

This project web page can be download at here (Google share)
All files should be saved in /var/www/html
From now, go to local web (192.168.1.71/camera.php) -> can see: camera image & car wheel will rotate if button is clicked (wheel will stop when button is released)

Step 4. Put all thing in car

Attach power bank in car. This power bank will feed Raspberry board

Attach camera, another power for H-bridge motor, and car cover

Done! Now open Local web at 192.168.1.71/camera.php to control it

4. Control through Internet (by port forwarding)
In order to control through Internet (any where in world!), port need to open in Router
At Raspberry:
   Change port of /etc/apache2/ports.conf from 80 to 8082
   Change port of /etc/apache2/sites-enabled/000-default.conf from 80 to 8082

At Router:
   Depend case on case at Router manufacturer, follow Router manual to open port 8082 for Local web, and port 8090 for camera

Now, finding Internet IP address by webpage, eg. http://www.canyouseeme.org/
Put internet IP address with Raspberry webpage, now the car can control anywhere in world!

Note: Step 6 and Step 7: if using "RUN-P" in simulation -> don't need to stop/start PLC to download software/hardware

Step 8. Simulate: open input/output variable at "Insert" menu. Click on input 0.0, then output 0.0 and 0.1 will be ON as in program OB1

1. buka aplikasi Mozilla Firefox.

lalu Ketik'an di addresbar nya about:config

2. Geser Mouse anda kebawah dan cari "network.http.max-connections",
double klik mouse dan ganti dengan angka "1024".

3. Lalu geser mouse lagi dan Cari "network.http.max-connections-per-server",
double klik mousenya dan ganti dengan angka "21".

4. Lalu geser mouse lagi dan Cari "network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-server",
double klik mousenya dan ganti dengan angka "8".

5. Geser mouse dan Cari Lagi "network.http.pipelining" double klik mouse kamu dan ubah menjadi "true".

6. Geser Kursor mouse kamu dan Cari "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests",
 double klik mouse nya dan ganti dengan angka "100".

7. Geser Lagi kursor mouse nya dan cari "network.http.proxy.pipelining"
double klik mousenya dan ubah menjadi "true".

8. klik kanan dimana saja kemudian pilih : New --> pilih integer,
lalu tulis "nglayout.initialpaint.delay" (tanpa tanda petik". Kemudian masukan angka "0".

Terakhir,
Restart Mozilla Firefoxnya dan bandingkan kecepatan nya sebelum kamu melakukan setting tadi dengan yg sudah kamu setting dan restart itu.

Berikut ini di jabarkan cara atasi masalah tidak bisa menghubungkan channel youtube anda dengan akun adsense yang berbeda email. dengan sedikit trik simple dan gratisan. anda sudah dapat mengatasi masalah tersebut. bagaimana caranya, mari simak langkah singkat dibawah ini. 

Untuk mensiasati bug yang sedang terjadi (semoga bug tidak permanen) maka dalam mentautkan channel ke GA yang beda gmail, yang perlu Anda siapkan adalah Mozilla Private Browser (bisa juga dengan Chrome private browser). Lakukan hal berikut ini:

1. Buka regular browser (buka browser Mozilla seperti biasa)
2. Buka lagi broswer Mozilla, namun kali ini dalam versi private
3. Login di regular browser dengan akun Youtube yang ingin Anda monetize
4. Di regular browser, klik Channel �> Monetization �> How I will be payed �> Associate an Adsense Account �> Next �> Create or use another account �> Sign in;
5. Setelah klik sign ini di nomer 4, yang perlu Anda lakukan adalah mengcopy URL yang ada di regular browser dan paste di private browser.
6. Di private browser, klik �> Sign out and sign in as a different user;
7. Masih di private broswer, masuk ke akun AdSense Anda, dan klik Sign in;
8. Di private browser, klik �> Accept association
9. Di pivate broswer, pada saat redirect ke YouTube, yang perlu dilakukan adalah copy link URL dan paste ke regular browser (buat saja tab baru lagi di regular browser, lihat nomer 4)
10. Dan akun channel pun sekarang sudah termonetize. Silahkan klik:https://www.youtube.com/account_monetization?action_adsense_connection=1 untuk check apakah akun GA Anda benar-benar sudah terhubung.

Sebenarnya simpel, Anda hanya perlu menggunakan browser dalam dua mode, yakni mode biasa dan mode private. Anda bug kecil (namun tidak selalu terjadi) di nomer 4, yakni kadang kala tidak adanya pilihan Create or use another account, setelah klik signin. Jika hal ini terjadi, anda hanya perlu melakukan klik button back pada browser atau ulangi dari halaman ini:https://www.youtube.com/account_monetization?action_adsense_connection=1

Rasbperry pi - FFmpeg install and stream to web

Following tutorial will show how to install FFmpeg into Raspberry Pi, then stream video to Local web which can be access through Computer/Phone/Tablet

1. Install library

cd /usr/src
git clone git://git.videolan.org/x264
cd x264
./configure --host=arm-unknown-linux-gnueabi --enable-static --disable-opencl
make
sudo make install

2. Install ffmpeg

cd /usr/src
git clone git://source.ffmpeg.org/ffmpeg.git
cd ffmpeg/
sudo ./configure --arch=armel --target-os=linux --enable-gpl --enable-libx264 --enable-nonfree
make

Note: Model B+ (4-Cores) can do �make -j4� instead of  �make�
         This "make" command will take 4 hours long -> take a sleep instead wait for it!

sudo make install

3. Config something:

gedit /etc/ffserver.conf

Input following settings:

Change mode for file webcam.sh so it can execute, then run it

chmod +x /usr/sbin/webcam.sh

After above command, streamming will be started to Local web

Go to web browser, type address <your-ip-address:8090>/test.mjpg

Result will come:

Note: to stop camera, press Ctrl+C at terminal, then type command

pkill ffserver

As test, video can see clock needle rotate every single second!

          Pada kesempatan yang berbahagia kali ini saya akan menjelaskan mengenai bagaimana caranya agar me-monitoring 3 buah sensor menggunakan nodemcu esp8266, yang mana nodemcu ini hanya memiliki satu buah adc dengan range 10 bit. maka dari itu saya menggunakan sebuah IC multiplexer 4051 untuk kendali switchnya. sensor yang dipakai yaitu sensor suhu LM35, sensor shake dan sensor pulse. alat ini diaplikasi untuk monitoring suatu keadaan dimana ada suhu, getaran dan benda yang masuk sehingga sensor pulse akan mendeteksi. alat ini menggunakan webserver sehngga komunikasinya menggunakan wifi router sebagai set point. untuk lebih jelasnya berikut adalah skema dan programnya. untuk tutorial cara masukkan library bisa lihat di datasheetnya.
